Happy feast of the Annunciation! What a beautiful feast!
Today we celebrate the conception of our Lord in Mary’s womb — the day that God became a human being, like us — in all things but sin. It’s also a celebration of the significance of Mary saying “yes” to God’s will. “May it be done unto me according to Your word.”
How can we honor our Mother Mary today?
How can we imitate her “yes” to God in our own lives?
Is there something God may be asking of us — that we can also say “yes” to?
Perhaps we need to ask for Mary’s intercession in these matters, as she herself knows what it’s like!
To celebrate this beautiful feast — and to remember its significance weeks and months away from today, how about a beautiful medal depicting the moment Archangel Gabriel appeared to Mary?
