People need compassion. And I believe, solidarity. To know they are not walking alone. To know someone has been there before, and will join them on this walk right now.

There are so many times when I’m suffering when I turn to God and ask, “Why?” And not just, “Why?” but, “Whyyyyyy????” You know what I mean?

And then, in God’s timing, He brings someone else to me who suffers from the same thing.

And in that instant, I see just a sliver of His answer.

I see a person who needs compassion. And solidarity. And thankfully, I can offer it sincerely with a truer understanding of that particular cross.

We’re meant to do that, aren’t we?

And being able to offer that, in a strange way, makes *my* cross lighter. And hopefully theirs too.

This is probably one of my favorite things about the work I get to do through Pray More Novenas.

Has this ever happened to you?
