Your trust in God was complete. Pray that He may increase my trust in His goodness and mercy as I ask for the following petitions…

Pray for me that I, like you, may have great and innocent confidence in the loving promises of our God. Pray that I may live my life in union with God’s plan for me, and one day see the Face of God whom you loved so deeply.
Saint Therese, you were faithful to God even unto the moment of your death. Pray for me that I may be faithful to our loving God. May my life bring peace and love to the world through faithful endurance in love for God our savior.
Loving God, You loved St. Therese with a powerful love and made her a source of strength to those who had lost faith in You. Help me to pray with confidence for those in my life who do not believe they can be loved.
I reflect you to the world, Lord. Help me to reflect you more clearly!
I rely on you, Lord. Help me to rely on you more!

“St. Therese is a doctor of the church. And I’m going to walk you through her perspective on how to handle weakness, how to handle struggle. She was somebody who knew struggle. There are people who debate whether or not she potentially had mental illness, whether she had a personality disorder. We don’t really know that. But what we know is that life wasn’t easy for her, and that she struggled likely with depression, anxiety, probably potentially an attachment disorder. We see a lot, if you read that and get to know her story. But she’s a doctor of the church. She’s got a lot figured out. She’s a PhD in holiness. And what does she say to us, what’s her primary message to us? It’s summed up as the Little way. One of her favorite scriptures was the instructions that I just read to you earlier about those who are poor in spirit. Those who are poor know their need for God and turn to him. That’s her secret.” (Jake Khym)

I wonder what St. Therese’s family made for brea

I wonder what St. Therese’s family made for breakfast on special days — feast days, Sundays. 🌹 Or while in the convent, did St. Therese and the other sisters there have any special traditions? I love to think about little details like this — to humanize the Saints, and remember that many of their days looked like ours. Sure, different times, different places. But some things — maybe some feelings or experiences… maybe there were some similarities. Even in the smallest of ways.
