This last week, that has looked like my husband making me coffee every morning even though he\u2019s not drinking it. It\u2019s just for me. \u2615\ufe0f And I\u2019ve been so grateful. And I\u2019ve looked at that pot every morning and thought about this small sacrifice John-Paul made for me. I think it\u2019s helpful to do that once in a while \u2014 to be intentional and to look at how or where or when our spouses are sacrificing for us and serving us (the same can be said in our relationship with the Lord). In so many ways, these things can become so mundane and a part of our normal everyday lives, but they\u2019re meaningful all the same. And it may soften our hearts to realize the things being done for us out of love, if we haven\u2019t looked in a while.
