Here are this week’s must-reads:
+ “Your unseen sacrifices echo in eternity… Much of what we do will never be posted, praised, or even noticed. The meals made. The kind texts sent. The tears held back. The patience stretched thin in love. But invisibility does not mean insignificance. In a world obsessed with recognition, we are invited to live differently— to believe that God sees, honors, and multiplies what the world overlooks. Your small, quiet “yes” to love today becomes part of a greater story—one that shapes hearts, homes, and history. You don’t need a platform to matter. You don’t need proof to trust that your presence changes things. You simply need to keep showing up open, faithful, and rooted in Him.” — ENDOW
+ “The same everlasting Father who cares for you today will care for you tomorrow and every day. Either he will shield you from suffering or give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace then and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginings.” (St. Francis de Sales)
+ “In the Sacred Heart every treasure of wisdom and knowledge is hidden. In that Divine Heart beats God’s infinite love for everyone, for each one of us individually.” (St. JP II)

+ About Offering Your Prayers to Mother Mary: When a child hands their mother a thoughtfully-picked dandelion — even though it’s a weed that most people try to rid their lawns of, it’s one of the most beautiful things to her. I wonder if you can similarly look at your prayer intentions in this way as you ask the Blessed Mother for her intercession. Maybe what you’re praying about feels like a “weed” in one sense or another — but when offered to our mother, maybe she loves to receive it. Maybe it’s one of the most beautiful flowers to her. To be thought of, and given and entrusted this intention with hope and love.
+ “Social media has changed our perceptions of how our houses should look. Our houses were never intended to be perfectly curated with seamless aesthetics and luxe finishes at every turn. Our house isn’t a museum, it’s a tool. A tool for ministry. Our houses are working houses — they nurse the sick, welcome strangers, and feed families. For the Christian, the house is an extension of the Church… a beautiful home has everything to do with the love and service within.” — Mrs. Mary Lentz
+ “God’s love does not impose burdens upon us that we cannot carry, nor make demands of us that we cannot fulfill. For whatever He asks of us, He provides the help that is needed.” — JP II
+ I always love this encouragement: If it matters to you, it matters to Him. God cares deeply about the things you care about. // And this makes me think about how we call on St. Anthony to intercede for us to find our lost items — sometimes it’s something that *seems* trivial, but really isn’t, you know? And God cares about that for us. 💙🙏 St. Anthony, pray for us.
+ “When I’m struggling most with this cross, I’m tempted to think, “I didn’t sign up for this!” But I did. We all did, when we vowed to love and cherish our spouse through good and bad times. The Church, in her wisdom, requires all couples to recite the same vows, vows that include the more difficult sides of life. In a way, these vows allow us to accept in advance the sufferings that are guaranteed in life in one form or another…
At my sister’s wedding, the priest highlighted the reality of suffering in marriage. He reminded the young bride and groom that neither God nor the Church promise us that everything will be sunshine and roses until death do us part. While we are not promised an easy path to Heaven, we are promised the grace needed to get there…” — Riley, Springs in the Desert
+ “St. Leopold Mandic prayed & prayed & prayed. God never said yes. What might be worse: God never said no. Fr. Leopold spent his whole life praying & hoping & longing & died unfulfilled. But completely fulfilled. Because while he desperately wanted to end the Great Schism, what he *really* wanted was Jesus. When I look at the Saints who prayed & prayed & finally got what they wanted, I begin to fix my hope on answered prayers. Leopold helps me fix my hope on the one who answers prayers. And when the only response to those prayers is silence, he sits beside me, leans his head on my shoulder, and says, “It’s not okay. But God is still good.” It’s not okay. But God is still good.” — Meg Hunter-Kilmer, “It’s not okay but God is still good”
+ “Dr. Nagai made this amazing statement of acceptance: “I could be cured miraculously of leukemia and that would be good. If I am not cured that’s good too, and it won’t bother me a scrap. All that I am concerned about is what His plans are for me; the only life that interests me is one lived for Him..one day at a time, supported by prayer.” He went on to say if we accept ourselves as we are, one day we shall see how God has accomplished great things through our weakness. For this man of God, pain joined with Christ’s pain means power, peace, compassion and acceptance. May Christ grant us the same wisdom in our thousand secret passions.” — Mon. Richard Lopez
+ “God told Adam and Eve they could eat from all the trees of the garden except one. So what did the serpent do? God them to focus on the one they couldn’t. God calls us … to see all that we have while the (serpent) tries to get us to focus on what we lack.” — Jon Gordon
+ “Bring before the Heart of Christ your more painful and fragile parts, those places in your life where you feel stuck and blocked. Let us trustfully ask the Lord to listen to our cry, and to heal us!” — Pope Leo XIV
+ What is the best piece of marriage advice you ever received? This question often comes to mind when we attend weddings. Here’s what I’ve come up with… I couldn’t say any one piece of advice is the very best, but a couple things come to mind:
